Melissa & Stephen

Melissa and Stephen’s wedding at Rixey Manor was one of those days that just felt happy from the second you arrived. A more perfect Spring day could not have been imagined.

Everything about it reflected them perfectly, colorful, energy, bright, welcoming, and full of personality.

We designed the florals to feel natural to the season and true to the atmosphere of the day: colorful spring blooms, layered textures, movement, and arrangements that felt loose and alive rather than overly polished. The colors brought life without taking away from the beauty of the venue itself, and so the ceremony was set with a beautiful backdrop of the hills of Rixey Manor. With flowers to elevate, not compete.

The reception was held under a clear top tent with bud vases along the tables and as centerpieces, and not just any bud vases, DISCO BALL  bud vases. You didn't expect a couple this lively to not bring the party to each table did you?

Then, the personal flowers:

Bold, colorful and all the Spring colors. That's what Melissa's bouquet reflected. With her girls to match, paired with the perfect variety of bridesmaids dresses, they were a sight to behold. We were even able to include the years first local Dahlias for her,  provided by Grateful Gardeners

Truly, we found ourselves having a case of FOMO leaving this wedding. They even inspired us to get out and dance!

We’re so grateful to have been a part of Melissa and Stephen’s day and couples like this remind you why we do this in the first place.
